The AdsML Annual General Meeting was held March 14 2011 at the WAN-IFRA offices in Darmstadt, Germany.

The meeting discussed and approved the proposed objectives and priorities for 2011. Following last year’s major release of approved specifications of the AdsML Framework, the AdsML Technical Working Group is now planning for a smaller maintenance release . The work will mainly be performed during the April/May period aiming for a release in the end of June.

The main office holders for 2011 are Harald Löffler (Chair, WAN-IFRA) and Rob Fogwill (Vice-Chair, AdFast).

Technical WG Meetings April 2010

This month the Technical Working Group completed Framework 3.5, Release 2.

There are no more meetings planned this month. The next meeting will be in June:

Technical WG Meeting 20 Jan 2010

The technical priorities for the next round of work have already been set, subject to ratification at the AGM in late January. Prior to the AGM, the Technical Working Group will hold a meeting to discuss the key technical decisions that need to be made this year. Our aim is to make decisions where possible, and identify any issues that need to be aired at the AGM the following week.

Members of the TWG who wish to participate in the next round of development should mark their calendars and hold this date:

Annual General Meeting January 2010

The date for the next AdsML Annual General Meeting on January 25th, 2010 from 13:00 to 16:00 (European winter time) was fixed at a delegates’ phone conference in June. So we are very much hoping that all delegates were able to block their calendars and will come to the meeting. We will meet at IFRA offices in Darmstadt.

The Ifra offices can be reached from the Frankfurt Rhein-Main Airport by Taxi in half an hour. For very low budgets there is the airport bus and public transport which will bring you to the Ifra office for approximately 8,- EUR in about 90 minutes.

We will review the current status of development from the Technical WG and will vote for the 2010 budget. Board and auditors have to be elected as well.

In order to be a quorum one third of the full members must be present. Next year the AdsML Consortium consists of 20 full members, so we will have a quorum with 7 companies represented. If you are a full member and cannot come to the AGM in person, please use the proxy form that was mailed to you and fax or mail it to Harald Löffler. You may give your proxy detailed instruction for voting on your behalf.

We are very much looking forward to meeting you in Darmstadt.
